Polylactic acid (PLA ) is a biodegradable polymer that can be produced from lactic acid.  Our premium PLA filament is fermented from corn crops.



Tensile strength (25 mm /min) - 52  MPa 
Elongation at break (25mm /min - 15%
Flexural stress (2mm /min) -  67.5  MPa
Density  - 1.25g/cm³ 
Approx. length / kg: 1.75mm - 333m | 2.85mm - 136m

PLA is harder than ABS, melts at a lower temperature. It does exhibit higher friction than ABS, which allows it to stick easily to your print bed. Due to its adhesion, we highly recommended the use of extruder fans (most 3D Printers come standard with this).

Our PLA is biodegradable and undergoes degradation within 180 days in composting conditions (80% humidity and constant temperature exceeding 60°C) without producing toxic waste.
